My massage
My aim during the sessions is that everybody can access their skills of self-healing. That’s the reason why it is so important for me to create an appropriate atmosphere for self-healing. It is the person receiving the massage whose conscious and subconscious mind decide in solid agreement about the recovery and the over evaluation of old tendencies and orientations.

”Health (ola) means, that the cells of the body vibrate in a fast pace, with other words: the energy of the body flows freely. We become ill (ma’i) when this flow gets blocked or becomes restricted for a longer period of time. During a temple-based Lomilomi massage the masseuse is the dancer and the person receiving the massage is the choreographer. Therefore the dance will always be different. We learn the basic movements of the massage as a frame, then the next thing is learning about attention, love and respect as emphasized principles. The final step is developing trust towards the information originating from the receiver’s body.” /Susan Pa’iniu Floyd/
Throughout the years, my technique has developed and changed. I combine Lomilomi with some extra techniques that derive from my Reiki-knowledge, or with those I have learnt during my self-knowledge work and courses, e.g. bodywork, touch therapy, touch and pressing based on intuition, rocking. At some point I named my technique “Lomilomi with seeing hands” – that seemed to be the most accurate wording for me. However, I have to highlight that during my sessions it is not the different techniques that get the main emphasis but unconditional love and acceptance.
Through all those techniques and exercises that I have learnt during the massage course and self-knowledge work, plus through the spirit of Aloha – the spirit of attentiveness, acceptance and love – my intention is to get back to the original harmony, to access higher level information and to find the connection with our own soul. All this can lead to a higher quality of life, more healthy relationships and higher vitality.

“Touching the body with a loving touch, if your hands are gentle and loving, your patient will feel the sincerity of your heart and their soul will reach out to yours so the Lord’s healing will flow through you both.” /Auntie Margaret/
As a Lomilomi massage therapist I already came across such physical and psychic recoveries during my sessions which I, personally, call miracles. I am grateful that I can share the blessings that can be experienced by anybody through the sacredness of Lomilomi. Nowadays people are more and more in need of (healing) touch. The Temple-style Lomilomi massage and the Hawaiian sacred touch can help us find our self-esteem, our individual power, our Self (Resource) that can be a basis of a wonderful way towards ourselves and others.
